DO NOT buy gift cards on Sun Valley 14's web site! They will not honor it. I have called everyone that i gave one to for christmas and said I would give them cash for their card. My teenage son went with friends to use his and they couldnt tell what he should do.

I come to this theatre all the time and I am beyond impressed. The building is beautiful. The fountain is a really nice feature. Everytime I come the box office line moves very frequently. I have never had to wait for a long time to get my tickets. The inside of the building is always clean and looks amazing. Concessions food was amazing. They even have white castle burgers and other food items that are all delicious. The seating in the theatres is very comfortable. Stadium seating with rocker seats. Presentation looks great too; the surround sound is wonderful. Over this theatre is the best around Charlotte and I look forward to coming here many more times!

The new Stone theatre at Sun Valley is our favorite. We try to see a movie there, at least once a week. But the last two times we visited we had to wait an unreasonable amount of time to purchase our tickets. This would be more understandable at the prime time in the afternoon, but both days were around noon during the week. Today I went in to see the manager while my wife waited in line. I asked for the manager to voice my complaint and she immediately went to help the one person at the ticket booth. She helped for about five minutes and then left, leaving the one person by herself in the ticket booth. There was still a long line and I was not the only one
that was a little upset. When we finally purchased our tickets we had to wait in another line to purchase popcorn. We arrived 20 minutes before time for the movie and by the time we were seated, the movie had already started. Counting the previews and over tweny minutes waiting in line it took us thirty minutes to get to our seats. I really like this theatre but I'm not sure how mudh more of this I can take. This manager needs to hire more help or at least keep a watch on the lines, and use the help she has more efficently.
