this was far from a remake because this movie has many ideas from the friday the 13th movies like the mom telling michael to kill it seems to me that rob zombie rushed in doing this movie because there many things already done before, so skip this movie -
Well even if it's the only movie available at the time you go - DON'T BOTHER!!! It'll be a total waste of time & money!!!
I did consider leaving the theater half an hour into it but curiosity took over - HOW MUCH WORSE COULD IT GET???
And it did... From a pointless bloody mess (and I'm a big fan of a bloody mess) it went to a boring stereotypical outcome that almost put me to sleep. And the idea was quite the opposite.
I won't even go into directors work and the cast...let's leave it to other reviewers.
